Privacy Policy

Spry is a mobility workouts app published by Vibe Coding Basics LLC ("Spry," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Spry mobile app collects, how it is used, how account and data deletion work, and the choices you have. By installing or using Spry, you agree to this policy.

Spry collects the information needed to provide accounts, purchases, ads, and support. The categories of information involved in using the app are:

• Account information. If you create or use a Spry account, Firebase Authentication processes your user ID, email address, sign-in provider, authentication tokens, and related account metadata. If you sign in with Google, Google Sign-In may also provide the name, profile photo, and email address associated with the Google account you choose.
• In-app activity and preferences. Spry may store routine progress, completed sessions, streaks, settings, favorites, entitlement status, and similar app activity so the app can work across sessions and signed-in devices. Some activity may remain only on your device, depending on the feature.
• Purchase and subscription information. Google Play and RevenueCat process purchase tokens, product identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, restore-purchase events, entitlement status, app user identifiers, country or region, and limited transaction metadata. We do not receive your full payment card number or Google Play password.
• Device and diagnostic information. Like most mobile apps, Spry receives basic technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and crash diagnostics. This is used to keep the app stable and to fix bugs.
• Advertising and consent information. When ads are shown in Spry, Google AdMob may receive your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location inferred from IP, device information, and ad interaction data. Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) may process your consent choices where a consent prompt is required.
• Support correspondence. If you email us for support, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that email (typically your email address and the contents of your message).

Spry is a general wellness app. It does not connect to Google Fit, Health Connect, Apple Health, or similar health platforms unless we explicitly add and disclose such an integration in a future version. We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, heart rate, biometric measurements, or treatment information. In-app mobility activity, such as completed routines or streaks, is used only to provide app functionality and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We use the information described above to:

• Create, authenticate, secure, and manage your Spry account
• Operate the app and remember your in-app preferences, progress, and settings
• Provide paid features, check subscription status, and restore purchases
• Diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance
• Display ads through Google AdMob to support the free app
• Record and apply your privacy and advertising consent choices where required
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Spry uses Firebase Authentication to provide account sign-in and account management. Firebase Authentication is a service provided by Google. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google authenticates you and shares the account details you approve with Spry so we can create or access your Spry account.

You can delete your Spry account in the app or request deletion through our web deletion page. See Spry Account & Data Deletion for the current deletion instructions.

Spry may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase validation, subscription status, entitlement access, and restore-purchase functionality. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement data needed to determine whether your account or device has access to paid features.

Google Play handles payment processing, receipts, billing support, and subscription cancellation for Google Play purchases. Deleting your Spry account or uninstalling Spry does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. You can manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions, or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Spry shows advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. AdMob and its partners may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. The information collected by AdMob may include:

• Your device's advertising identifier, when available and permitted by your device settings
• IP address and coarse location derived from it
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Information about ad impressions, clicks, and conversions
• Consent status and privacy choices collected through Google UMP where required

Google may use this information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, and detect fraud. Google's use of advertising data is governed by the Google Ads Privacy & Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can control ad personalization at the device level on Android in Settings > Privacy > Ads, where available. You can also change privacy and consent choices from within Spry where the app provides a privacy choices or consent settings option.

Where required by law (for example, for users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), Spry shows a Google-certified consent prompt (Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. You can change your consent choices later from within the app.

Spry is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. Where AdMob serves ads in the app, ad requests are configured to comply with applicable child-safety frameworks; even so, the app is intended for general adult audiences.

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate Spry. Each one has its own privacy policy.

• Firebase Authentication provides authentication, account identity, and account security. Firebase Privacy and Security
• Google Sign-In lets you sign in with a Google account and provides the approved account details needed for sign-in. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Play distributes the Android app, processes purchases and subscriptions, provides billing support, and provides install, crash, and store analytics. Google Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat validates purchases, manages subscription entitlements, and supports restore-purchase functionality. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob and Google UMP serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and collect consent choices where required. Google Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Spry, our users, or others.

Account data is kept while your Spry account remains active. Account-linked Spry data is deleted or de-identified after account deletion unless we must keep limited records for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute, or compliance reasons. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase and subscription records according to their own legal and platform obligations. Advertising and consent data handled by Google AdMob and Google UMP is retained according to Google's policies. Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall Spry. Support email correspondence is kept in our inbox unless you ask us to delete it and we no longer need it for a legitimate reason.

You can delete your Spry account from inside the app by opening Spry, going to Settings or Account, choosing Delete account, and confirming the prompts. This deletes your Firebase Authentication account and account-linked Spry data that we control.

You can also request account and data deletion without using the app at /spry/account-deletion. If you cannot access the app, email vibecodingbasics@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Spry account and include "Spry account deletion" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions through Google Play before or after deletion at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Depending on where you live (notably under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws) you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time

Vibe Coding Basics LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers (notably Google) operate globally. If you use Spry from outside the United States, you understand that information processed in connection with the app may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries with different data protection laws than your home country.

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Spry, including HTTPS for any network communication and encrypted storage for any credentials we hold. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your information, we will tell you about it as quickly as we reasonably can, and in any event within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent material change. Continued use of Spry after an update means you accept the revised policy.
